The amount your dog needs per day is based on their current weight. The feeding amount given is a daily amount and you will split it into smaller meals as preferred.
We give a feeding range and recommend starting at the lower end. Most family dogs are happiest here, whereas working dogs or dogs doing in excess of 2 hours exercise per day may need a bit more.
